We loved the San Donato - it was the perfect hotel for our Bologna visit. It is in a great location to easily walk to Food, wine, shopping, sites. It has old school charm which makes it prefect. Everyone there was warm and wonderful.

The property is in a great location for all the sights and an abundance of bars and restaurants in every street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city was an awesome start to the day.

Amazing location, everything is super close and rooftop terraces have the best views. Staff is very nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean, quite large bathroom. Would recommend to everyone staying in Bologna!

its a very good hotel in the heart of Bologna which I booked accidentally because I was physically kicked out from other place I booked on Booking.com and they didnt do nothing to help me. So I must to find a new place to stay and it was a pleasant surprise that I booked such a wonderful hotel and checked-in immediate. I highly recommend you to stay in the Hotel San Donato, the stuff is very nice and friendly, the room isnt big but has it all, the AC works perfect, also the balcony is nice but could be better if you put there a table and chairs. the rooftop is wooow, amazing panoramic view!

Location is good, we came by car right to city center, you call the hotel and they allow you to cross the ZTL, into their parking. For the parking you pay extra.

The location is great, a few steps away from the Two Towers and the Piazza Maggiore. The hotel staff was very kind and supportive with everything we needed (print our tickets and saving our little cooler in the refrigerator).
